About M/Y SHIVA

Nikolaos is an experienced Greek marine engineer with a strong background spanning commercial shipping and luxury yachting. A graduate of the Marine Engineering Academy of Aspropyrgos and holder of a 3rd Engineer diploma, he has spent many years aboard tankers, high-speed ferries, commercial vessels, and private yachts — building extensive technical expertise and operational depth across a remarkably diverse fleet.
Throughout his career, Nikolaos has been responsible for the safe and efficient operation of engine room and mechanical systems across a wide range of vessel types. His technical foundation is reinforced by advanced certifications in tanker safety, firefighting, ship security, and engineering watchkeeping — a credential set that reflects the rigour of commercial-grade engineering standards.
Onboard M/Y Shiva, Nikolaos brings the calm authority of a senior engineering professional accustomed to demanding commercial environments. Fluent in English and Greek and known for his professionalism, reliability, and composure under pressure, he ensures that every technical system performs to the highest standard — allowing guests to enjoy a safe and seamless charter throughout the season.

Elias is an experienced Greek chef with nearly two decades of culinary experience across restaurants and hospitality venues, bringing creativity, versatility, and a guest-focused approach to the galley aboard M/Y Shiva. Throughout his career, Elias has held roles spanning kitchen supervisor, preparation manager, barista, and bartender — giving him an unusually well-rounded understanding of the full dining and service experience. This breadth has shaped his attention to detail across both hot and cold kitchen preparation, his organizational skills, and his ability to design and deliver complete guest experiences rather than dishes in isolation.
Onboard M/Y Shiva, Elias brings a menu philosophy rooted in quality ingredients and authentic Mediterranean flavours, tailored to each charter’s preferences. Multilingual — fluent in Greek with working knowledge of English, French, and Spanish — he combines his culinary expertise with a warm, professional personality, dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences throughout every voyage.

He holds a valid Greek Seaman’s Book, a Speedboat Operator License issued by the Hellenic Coast Guard, and multiple maritime safety certifications including advanced firefighting, survival techniques, and medical first aid.
