Martino Bianco
Captain Martino Bianco is 49 years old and was born in Catania, Sicily.
Martino has grown up very close to the sea. His grandfather was a fisherman and Martino started rowing his fishing boat at a very young age. Soon enough he attended the IVF sailing courses in La Maddalena – Sardinia.
In 1993 Martino graduated at the Aeronautical Technical Institute and subsequently achieved the pilot’s licence of 1st and 2nd degree while enriching his cultural background with the attendance of the Naval Academy of Marina Military of Livorno as a cadet.
Whilst sharpening his knowledge by attending courses and obtaining certificates, Martino started working at the Aicon shipyard where he was responsible for the production and after-sales technical assistance until 2005. Martino then opened his own company as a Nautical Services Center dealing with technical assistance and charter services. Martino also travelled a lot in this period between England, Egypt, Tunisia, Montenegro and Russia .
From 2007 until now Martino was in charge of several pleasure and charter yachts, combining a great passion for Mediterranean cuisine.
