How are the passenger capacities calculated on catamarans? / Upon what depends the capacity on-board of a catamaran?

Catamarans are all approved for a specific number of passengers. The number of passengers specified in our brochures must include your guests, your companions, your service providers such as the caterer, staff, DJ, photographer, etc … The crew is not to be deduced from the mentioned capacity. As professional and commercial vessels, our fleet undergoes annual inspections and have all the necessary and mandatory safety equipment on board. If the boat has as many lifejackets on board as certified number of passengers, it is not mandatory to wear them. They remain at your disposal in case of need.

Can I bring my personal food and drinks on-board?

Some boats offer BBQ buffets which are prepared by the crew, but you remain free to contact the caterer of your choice or bring your own supplies directly on-board. No corkage fee or service fee is applied. The boats’ furniture such as tables & chairs and kitchen & refrigerators are at your disposal as well as the crew who remains at your service during your cruise. It is however necessary that you bring your own crockery, napkins, tablecloths and any other element you may need.

What are the charter hours?

The catamaran does not offer a rate per hour or a half-day rental. Each boat is at your disposal with its crew for a charter period of 8 hours. You can follow your own schedule according to your cruising program with a time limit at midnight. Want to extend the party? Some boats offer optional extra hour rentals until 2am, which are subject to the vessel’s reservation schedule on the following day.

What are the additional costs?

Arthaud Yachting sends you a quote without surprises. The daily rate includes delivery costs to the requested departure location and fuel consumption for the entire cruise. Harbor taxes and catering options are also detailed in our proposals.

What should I expect for the day?

In order to have a pleasant cruise we advise you to bring your usual beach bag containing bathing suit, beach towel and sun cream. All our catamarans are equipped with a sound system which allows you to connect your devises and enjoy your playlists. Regarding the water toys on-board, some boats offer snorkeling equipment in order to explore the surroundings, but you are free to bring your own nautical equipment. It is requested to take off your shoes upon your arrival on-board.

Can I invite people with special needs on-board?

Pets are not allowed on-board.Children are welcome on-board and remain under parent’s full responsibility and supervision during their stay on-board the catamaran. Parents must bring all the necessary safety equipment such as water wings, booster seats, baby meals, etc.Recently built catamarans are approved for people with reduced mobility but will be also depend on the chosen itinerary and place of embarkation/ disembarkation. The catamarans are particularly stable and offer a large living space and many seating areas. There is also a shaded seating area which is very pleasant for our seniors.Crew BBQ’s and buffets are very well thought in order to please everyone. Enjoy some fresh and diverse products. If you are following a specific diet, we will be pleased to offer you something to respect your needs. Please let us know upon placing orders.
