Gabriel Garcia Barcelo
Gabriel was born in the north of Mexico, in the state of Sonora where he lived
most of his childhood, it was at the age of 15 when he initially moved to
Mazatlan for studying purposes, then some years later he moved to Los Cabos
looking a better job opportunity, so it was in 2000 when he started his nautical
career as sailor of a 46ft yacht, then 5 years later he became captain of a 60ft
yacht.
Since then Gabriel has been captain in different yachts from a 60ft to 100ft. In
2014 he had the opportunity to moved to Europe for captain a 100ft Azimut and
chartering it all over the mediterranean ocean, specially the Ibiza, Mallorca and
Menorca islands, then in 2015 the 100ft Azimut yacht he was sailing in Europe
was moved to Miami for chartering it for a year prior moving it finally to Los
Cabos.
Finally, in 2021 he took the challenge of bringing from Puerto Vallarta to Los
Cabos the 100ft Azimut Jumbo he still sailing.
